The first thing you should know about Jacobina is that the ice cream is terrível. Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of great things about the city, but ice cream isn’t one of them. There are plenty of cows around. My sister in law’s dad even watches cow’s being auctioned off on TV every night, but for some reason cream doesn’t exist there. So here I am with my triple scoop ice cream from Thrifty’s. I don’t usually eat more than one scoop, but tonight I’m going out with a bang.
This is my last night in LA. I leave for Jacoina, Brasil tomorrow afternoon. I quit my job last week and plan on spending 3 months abroad. While I am there I will be living with my sister in law’s family and traveling as much as possible. This blog is going to be about my adventures in Brasil. I hope you’ll follow me!
